Koperasi Serbaguna Pekerja-Pekerja Malaysia Berhad is one of the pioneer Cooperatives in the country, which boasts membership strength of about 49,000 attracting members both from the Government and Private Sectors.
Our main and traditional activity since our inception in 1968 has always been the granting of personal loans to our members who are usually given a fixed period of time to repay these loans.
The co-operative has more than 50 years experience in granting of Personal loans and has consistently reporting profit over the years.

The guiding principle and the activities of Koperasi Pekerja
The guiding principle of Koperasi Pekerja since the day of its incorporation is driven by values of self-help through co-operation, mutual aid among members, thrift, equality and equity, Thus, in line with this underlying principles, Koperasi Pekerja is involve in a diversified range of economic activities, providing value to its members, i.e.
Members of Koperasi Pekerja are eligible to apply for personal loans. To be eligible for the loans facilities, the individual must be a member of the co-operative for at least six months. The eligibility of the loan amount is based on four times the share capital /subscription credit in the account. The maximum loan is RM10,000.00 and subject to the rules and regulations of the personal loan scheme.
The Koperasi in accordance with its By-Law also arranges third party financing Retail Loan up to RM 150,000.00 to its eligible members from financial institutions. Thecriteria, interest and other related charges are based on financial institutions criteria.
The Healthcare Division is divided into two departments. The first being the corporate department which manages all aspects of outpatient and inpatient healthcare scheme for corporate clients provided by a pool of insurers arranged through our corporate brokers. This Healthcare Programme is exclusively customized to meet the clients needs and affordability in providing protection to their esteemed workforce.
The other department caters to individual healthcare programme offered to the public and the members of Koperasi Pekerja to help members of this programme to prepare themselves during unexpected turn of events when hospitalization and costly treatments are required. The competitively priced programme enables the members to get admitted to selected panel hospitals on a cashless admission system. The programme also provides 24-hour emergency services, annual medical examination, hospitalization and surgical
insurance and personal accident cover.
Koperasi Pekerja organizes group or individual tour packages. Members who are interested in organizing tour packages or interested in purchasing airline tickets can do so through the services of this co-operative society. The payment for these facilities can be made through loans approved by the society.
The Koperasi Pekerja provides wide range of general insurance schemes through the respective insurance companies. For example, group personal accident covers are underwritten by AIA and Great Eastern while other cover of general insurance like theft, motor, fire, house owners and householders are also available on request. Koperasi Pekerja also extends monthly deduction facilities to Koperasi members who purchase life insurance schemes with MCIS Insurance Berhad.
